Liebster is German and translates to the English word
“dearest”or” favourite”. It’s meant for up-and-coming
blogs with less than 200 followers.”
A Liebster Blog Award is given to talented bloggers who have less than 200 followers. “Liebster” is a German word that means “Dearest”, it also means ”Favorite”. So, in a way the award not only recognizes these bloggers as amazingly gifted in their own right but also as your very own personal favorites.
So I woke up this morning, checked my emails and almost fell of my chair when I read that Averil from Quirky Baker Girl recognized my humble blog with this award. All I can say is WOW! *speechless*.
To Averil, I hereby raise my passion fruit flavored drink to offer you a sincere thank you, and I'm sending a big piece of virtual double fudge chocolate cake (with cherry on top) to all of you who drop by from time to time. I truly appreciate the comments, suggestions and encouragements. Please keep them coming.
Please don't forget to check Averil's lovely blog. It's filled with amazing recipes and mouthwatering pictures, guaranteed to inspire you to get busy in the kitchen.
